世界存亡危在旦夕，“信条”一词是唯一的线索与武器。主人公穿梭于全球各地，开展特工活动，力求揭示“信条”之谜，并完成一项超越了真实时间的神秘任务。这项任务并非时间之旅，而是【时空逆转】。

故事发生在20世纪50年代的新墨西哥州，一个年轻的总机操作员和电台DJ发现了一个奇怪的频率，这个频率可能会永远改变他们的生活、他们的小镇和整个地球。《夜之无极》落入了《暮光之城》的兔子洞，通过掉落的电话、调幅无线电信号、被遗忘在图书馆里的秘密磁带卷、交换机、交叉的补线和一个匿名电话，他小心翼翼地将一个寻寻式的寻人故事编织在一起。《夜之无极》通过令人困惑的全程跟踪镜头、快速的对话和完美的时代术语，将观众带入一个远离外界的时代和小镇。它的神秘只呈现给那些好奇和有足够耐心去倾听的人。

影片以世界末日事件发生后人们被迫陷入极度孤立的场景为背景。一对父子（莫耶饰）与世隔绝，他们已经与世隔绝 20 年，却遇到了一个外来人（西尔弗斯通饰），后者威胁要摧毁他们所建立的乌托邦。

上野树里和林健人共同主演的荣获第14届当代故事新人奖的帕鲁斯绫子的小说《邻居X》正在被拍成电影。影片名为《邻居X：可疑女友》，将于12月1日起在东京、新宿皮卡迪利等全国各地上映。
